Sam brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in event management, volunteer development, operations, and financial stewardship. A University of Kentucky graduate, she also holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Education from Temple University.
Sam spent 13 years with Disney Sports Attractions at ESPN Wide World of Sports, serving in senior roles including Sports Volunteer Services Manager, Box Office Manager, and Guest Operations/Duty Manager. She led large-scale event operations hosting up to 30,000 guests, recruited and trained thousands of volunteers, and partnered across departments to execute complex events.
Her background also includes campus ministry leadership at West Chester University, adjunct faculty service at Temple University, and church leadership roles in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. She has successfully raised significant funds, managed six-figure budgets, and built strong community partnerships.
An accomplished alto, Sam has performed with the Walt Disney World Cast Choir and the Orlando Messiah Society. A dedicated UK alumna, she remains actively involved in alumni leadership and philanthropy.
