Keith Key, Vice President

Keith Key is the senior advisor for Key and Associates with Merrill Lynch. His practice focuses on offering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with beginning to know a client and the client’s family, financial situation and what matters most to them. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and a Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM) he brings sensitivity to advice and guidance. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2003, Keith spent five years at Prudential Securities. 
 
He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology from Florida Baptist Theological College and a Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Keith is generous with his time and active in the Lexington Rotary Club After Hours and Rotary International which supports several important causes, including literacy, peace and conflict prevention, and polio eradication. He also served as District Governor for District 6740. Currently he serves on the board of the Village at Rabbit Run, the Lexington Public Library Foundation and the Lexington Club. 
 
He first experienced opera in 1992 while working in Moscow. This experience and the opportunity to attend the ballet Swan Lake by Russian composer Tchaikovsky are with him as he joins the board of OperaLex.
