Glenda Creech serves as President/CEO of Wesley Village, a Life Plan Community, in Wilmore, KY. With a remarkable career spanning over 40 years in senior health and residential care, including significant experience in the for-profit sector with Marriott and Forum Group, Glenda transitioned to lead Wesley Village (a nonprofit faith-based community) in 2002. It has evolved into a model of excellence, and she has received numerous leadership awards for guiding the community to prominence and achieving many “firsts” in senior care.
Glenda is a devoted lover of music and strongly believes in the role of all areas of the performing arts, as well as their contribution to the spirit and quality of life for seniors. As past president of the Lexington Chamber Chorale board and a past president and long-time member of Lexington Singers, she sings in the choir at First United Methodist Church and brings that same spirit of song and community to the stage at Wesley Village. This provides an excellent experience for students of UKOT, UK choruses, Asbury University, and several area high schools. These musical programs help enrich the cultural and spiritual lives of residents, senior community members, and staff.
