Abby Vaughn has worked in the financial industry for thirty years, for a global financial company and a Fortune 500 bank. She currently is at Unified Trust. Her experience includes 16 years of management, and over a decade in the Private Banking/Wealth management sector.
Abby and her husband moved to Lexington in 1987 from Harold, Kentucky, a small town between Pikeville and Prestonsburg. Their daughter is currently doing her residency at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Abby’s passions include giving back to the community, dabbling in home design, caring for her rescues Bella and Louie and cheering for the UK Wildcats.
Abby considers her first real opera experience in New York City with her husband and family when they attended The Phantom of the Opera. She serves on the OperaLex board because she believes in its mission and feels she can help build community awareness. She especially enjoys seeing scholarships awarded to deserving students.
